Monday 14 June 2010 - Maid of the Mist

To discover the water’s fury at the base of the falls, we caught the boat called the “Maid of the Mist” that has been operating for over 70 years. In this boat you cruise up the river to the base of the Falls, passing the American Falls before reaching the base of Niagara’s Canadian Horse Shoe Falls. The boundary between the USA and Canada runs through the middle of the Niagara River, dividing the Falls between the 2 countries.
