Finally leaving Ontario Province and heading east today, we drove for 6 hours from Toronto to Montreal. Passing through the Thousand Islands area again, we stopped for a picnic on the shores of the St Lawrence River near Rockport to show Christine the beauty of this area.
We spent the night with Francois and Odette, friends that I made when working on the Coega project in 2007. It was wonderful to see them again and enjoy some home cooked food. They really treated us like royalty and gave us a wonderful evening and Christine was especially thrilled to have her own room for the night!
