It’s Canada day and the whole country celebrates it’s independence with festivities and fireworks etc. With a howling gale blowing outside, we spent the morning doing chores like laundry and then set off to for town. We stopped on the way to photograph the bridge across the Saint John harbor that Liam’s dad built. It was lovely to experience this personal history with a monument to his work.
We then walked around downtown taking in the sidewalk sales, hot dog stands, live music and various activities associated with the festivities of the day.
