The afternoon heralded a long time dream come true for Liam – it was off to play a round of golf on the world famous Banff Stanley Thomson course at some R2400 per round! Guess why I didn’t play too! It was a very special experience for him and he was teamed up with 2 Canadians and a New Zealander living in Tasmania – a really fun group of guys. To enhance the experience, play was delayed on one hole by a male elk and a herd of females out on the course. The male elk are in rut at the moment and got quite aggressive when one of Liam’s golfing companions got too close trying to take a photo.
