Off to the Wilderness today, we left Hinton and headed off to the remote Wilmore Wilderness where we are staying in a rustic cabin. On our way, we stopped off at the lovely William Switzer Provincial Park. We had a lovely walk through the forest around the lake and a picnic lunch overlooking the lake. Then we headed off to Rocky Mountain Escape and after a long gravel road to nowhere, we arrived at our cozy cabin.
We explored the stony river bed before a lovely barbecue steak dinner and retiring to our cabin complete with wood fire stove for heating. Boy, were we going to need it!
